This is an easy one! No matter what is wrong, Connie and Ginger never fail to make me smile.
Several months ago, I dropped a really heavy fire extinguisher on my foot. It hurt like crazy! While I was laying on the couch and trying not to cry or throw up, Connie curled up on top of me and gave me kisses. She laid there, guarding me until I felt well enough to stand up. Even though I was nearly in tears, I couldn't help but smile.
While Connie is more of a comforter, Ginger is the clown. She always seems to know when someone is feeling blue and always does something really silly to brighten their mood! Her favorite way of cheering us up is to dance! She does the adorable and wiggly little jig! It is impossible not to laugh!
What, to you, is the first sign of spring? Have you seen it yet?

Yes! I always get excited when our Bradford Pear trees start to bloom. They bloom right at the start of spring. All of our other plants and bushes start blooming shortly after they do.
When skimming a magazine (or book or newspaper) do you flip through the pages from front to back or back to front?

Back to front. I'm not sure why, but I've always read magazines that way.
I also like to read the last page of a book before I start it.

I read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams a few years ago. It is a great series to read when you are feeling down! You can't help but laugh!

We went to PetCo this past weekend. Connie's birthday party will be next Saturday, so we picked up a few birthday gifts!
What's one family recipe that you wish you knew how to cook?
Almost anything that my grandma (dad's mom) would make! She was a great cook! Her biscuits were especially amazing!
My other grandmother (mom's mom) makes an amazing Yorkshire Pudding that I'd love to know how to do too. It is probably good that I can't make it, though! I would eat it far too much and far too often!
She also makes great chocolate treats and cakes on Christmas! My favorite are the coconut balls dipped in chocolate! Heavenly!

There are several television shows that I think were canceled far too soon. The one I miss most, however, is probably Dead Like Me.
